Privacy Policy
Caseflood, Inc. ("Caseflood", "we", "us") provides AI-powered client-intake software and services to law firms. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the intake, calling, and text-messaging services we operate on behalf of the law firms that use Caseflood.
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide — such as your name, phone number, and email address — for example when you call a law firm that uses Caseflood, submit a form, or join our waitlist.
- Intake information you share with a law firm during a call or text conversation, such as details about your legal matter.
- Communications data — records of calls and text messages handled through our platform, including transcripts and delivery metadata.
- Usage data — standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
How we use information
- To operate intake services on behalf of the law firm handling your inquiry — answering calls, sending and receiving text messages, scheduling, and preparing documents such as engagement agreements.
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve our services.
- To respond to your requests and communicate with you about our services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Text messaging (SMS) privacy
When you opt in to receive text messages — for example by calling a participating law firm and agreeing to receive texts, by submitting a form with your phone number, or by texting us first — we use your phone number solely to send you messages related to your inquiry or legal matter, such as case updates, follow-ups, scheduling, and e-signature links.
All SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for text-messaging purposes will not be shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except for the service providers necessary to deliver the messages (such as telecommunications carriers and messaging platforms) and the law firm handling your matter.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. See our Terms of Service for full messaging terms.
How we share information
We share information only with: (1) the law firm on whose behalf we are handling your intake, (2) service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, telephony, messaging, and e-signature providers), bound by confidentiality obligations, (3) as required by law, and (4) in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal and professional obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will honor requests as required by applicable law.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
